About the Role
This role will effectively contribute to the smooth running of Lakes District Hospital by providing range of administration services that support the Charge Nurse Manager to provide nursing leadership to staff to enable them to provide patient care, in an efficient and timely way that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service/ organisation.

About you
This role demands a switched on, highly motivated and organised person with a strong ability to prioritise competing demands in an efficient manner, whilst continually learning in an ever-changing environment.
Ideally you will also bring the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a busy clerical administrator role
- Ability to communicate clearly, both in written and verbal form
- Competent and confident using the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel Outlook and Adobe
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA South Island Clerical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 3C between $65,627 and $70,024 p.a. dependant on relevant experience.
