We have an exciting opportunity for a quality assurance expert to join our Christchurch based team, as a Quality Advisor. Working alongside our existing team of advisors, this role is pivotal to educating and supporting our local operational and management teams to ensure they have the necessary tools to effectively deliver in the quality assurance space.
In addition to the above you will:
- Utilise your knowledge of the Fulton Hogan quality assurance systems and processes to ensure compliance and consistency across Christchurch operations.
- Review quality assurance documentation for non-conformances and provide technical risk-based advice.
- Collaborate with operational teams to assess their quality concerns, and work with them to identify solutions.
- Prepare Quality Reports and communicate with the FH Canterbury lab for results, actioning as required.
- Participate in, and lead Quality investigations, ensuring learnings are identified and shared throughout the wider business.

We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous quality assurance experience, ideally in a civil contracting environment.
- Bachelor/Diploma in Engineering or extensive industry experience.
- Knowledge of relevant quality assurance regulations and specifications.
- A personable approach to develop and maintain relationships at all levels.
- The ability to encourage a positive quality culture, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to undertake comprehensive quality investigations for remedial works.
- Basic understanding of GIS and its application is advantageous
