Position overview

Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment? At allnex, we're looking for a reliable and safety-conscious team player to join our Warehouse Operator in Penrose Auckland, NZ. Your main goal will be to ensure customer orders are dispatched and received accurately, safely, and on time.

This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly while meeting high standards for safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Order Preparation & Dispatch

Pick, package, and label goods accurately for customer orders.
Ensure on-time dispatch to maintain our DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time) levels.
Load and unload transport vehicles and containers safely.
Use our warehouse management system to confirm and process orders.

Stock Management

Keep stock records updated and accurate.
Ensure goods are stored in the right locations.
Help with stocktaking and cycle counts, reporting any discrepancies.

Quality Standards

Follow ISO 9001 procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
Support audits, address customer complaints, and help with corrective actions.

Safety & Equipment Maintenance

Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and ensure they are in good working condition.
Report any incidents or near misses promptly.
Follow all safety guidelines and participate in SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) programs.

Housekeeping

Keep work areas clean and organized.
Clean up spills or damaged stock immediately.
Participate in housekeeping audits and maintain all equipment in great condition.

Required skills and experience

Previous experience in warehouse and distribution, stores, customer service, or production is a plus, especially if you’ve worked with dangerous goods.
A strong focus on safety and delivering excellent customer service.
Valid forklift license.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and a willingness to learn ERP systems.
Great communication skills—both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a small team and adapt to changing priorities.
Physically capable of manual handling tasks.
High initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Flexibility and adaptability to embrace change.
