Job Description

He aha te tūranga - About the role: 

Hato Hone St John is excited to consider applications from current full-time staff employed within the Rotorua station who have completed the Paramedicine degree.

We have two full time positions available working an average of 42 hours on a 4 x 4, DDLL roster based in Rotorua. On the 2 day shifts, you will be auto deployed from Rotorua at the commencement of each shift to Murupara Station as the domiciled station for the shift.

Included within your role will be Remote Triage (RT), providing remote clinical triage of assigned calls, as workload allows. Specific training will be provided for this.

Qualifications

Ko wai koe - About you:

  • Current full-time employee of Hato Hone St John with an EMT ATP and
  • Have completed a Bachelor of Health Science Paramedicine degree (or equivalent) and
  • Eligible or already registered with Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council
