Job Description
Do yourself a power of good
Want to work somewhere where you are doing good for the world, your community and yourself at the same time?
Whatever your role at Vector, we’ll stretch you to find solutions for some of the world’s biggest challenges. And they don’t get much bigger than redesigning our energy future for a world of EV’s and home solar generation to help mitigate the impacts of climate change.
If you want to do a power of good for yourself and the world, consider a career at Vector.
About the role:
As Business Analyst - Cyber, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve business processes and user experience through process re-engineering and reimagining the product/service experience we deliver.
You’ll also be accountable for analysing business processes, information requirements and system interactions specific to the products and services in the value stream. You will know how to standardise processes to be repeatable, defined, and measurable.
In the BA chapter, you will work alongside other BAs in growing the maturity level of our practice.
As the conduit between technical teams, the business and our customers, you’ll be confident translating jargon to simple language and vice versa. You’ll also be an effective negotiator, and adept at getting people onboard, influencing others and presenting ideas and concepts.
Who we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Technology Sector, with a focus on security or regulatory compliance.
- A strong understanding of Cyber Security principles and tools – experience with IAM/PAM will set you up for success.
- Ideally, you’ll have previous experience working in value streams, tribes, or squads, with a solid understanding of switching between Agile, Waterfall, and Kanban delivery methodologies.
- You’ll have experience working in digital/technical environments, with a track record of using Six Sigma or Lean Sigma to define processes, improve efficiencies, and identify broken processes.
- The ability to translate complex security and business requirements into actionable, clear specifications.
- A strong business focus, with experience in process visualization and service blueprints.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills will be your strengths.
What we can offer you:
