We are seeking interest from motivated individuals, who are considering new and fresh opportunities in 2025.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract covering parental leave. Role design will be hands on, end to end, business partnering (within a broader people & culture team).  Ideally you will be based at our Auckland office but there is the option to be based in Hamilton or Tauranga as long as you have the flexibility to travel to Auckland as required.

What kind of work may be involved?

• Employee champion and change agent; proactively improve and enhance the performance, productivity and culture.
• Drive Workday system enhancements and efficiencies across the function.
• Performance management & employee relations.
• Employee engagement strategies
• Capability & development
• Employee review cycles
• Succession planning & talent management
• Safety & wellbeing. Support the development, implementation, and execution of the Motion Safety and Wellbeing strategy and framework throughout the Motion NZ business.

What you will bring:

• Experience as an HR business partner working with a wide range of stakeholders at varying levels.
• Demonstrated ability in organizational change.
• Knowledge of ER best practice and NZ legislation.
• Experience within an engineering or industrial industry an advantage but not critical.
