Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join the Smart Pack team in Kelvin Grove, Palmerston North. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all warehouse and logistics functions, from managing dispatch, 3PL contracts and inwards containers to leading the warehouse team and working with the sales team to create solutions for our clients.
You’ll have experience working in warehousing or logistics management and are aware of the complexities of the supply chain. You’re have a robust understanding of domestic logistics in both Australia and New Zealand and are able to contribute to and lead continuous improvement initiatives across all facets of the business.
You will be highly organised and a skilled communicator. You’ll build relationships easily with suppliers, distributors, clients and staff alike. You will have the nous to be aware of trends in customer demands and regulatory constraints.
You’re a hands-on leader, and your approach is to roll up your sleeves and get involved. Your high energy means you get stuff done and to the high standard, and you influence others to do the same.
