We’re on the hunt for a talented graphic designer to focus on content development for our digital applications. If you love the challenge of designing for digital platforms then this might be a perfect match.

 

This is a contract role for a 6-month maternity cover.

 

You will be working in a team comprising of marketers, clinical scientists, UI/UX designers, software developers, data scientists and engineers to design new ways to empower patients and clinicians to improve clinical outcomes.

 

We are looking for a someone who is comfortable working with ambiguity and limited supervision in a nimble team. You will not be afraid of taking ownership of new tasks and to share your ideas. We commit to a safe environment where team members trust each other to experiment, voice their opinions and commit mistakes without judgment, independently of their role or seniority.

 

This role is based in East Tamaki, South Auckland, but your creative digital contributions will be viewed by our customers world-wide.

 

Now we have your attention, there are some important things you need to know.

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • at least 8+ years’ experience working at an agency or as part of an in-house design team

  • strong design aesthetic and excellent conceptual ability

  • the skill of balancing the need for fresh ideas with the need for a consistent brand experience.

  • the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence for end results

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable presenting ideas to key stakeholders

  • can work on multiple projects at once, transparently prioritizing the needs of your different customers

 

You will be required to ask strategic questions to uncover the needs of your internal customers and advocate for the experience of the end user.

 

You will need to have a tertiary graphic design qualification and be a highly skilled user of Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Any expertise with other Adobe applications would be a bonus.
