Rolleston Open Cut is a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine located in the southern Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. With a long life of mine and low operating costs, the mine has a bright outlook. Job Description
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the HME Maintenance team and reporting directly to the HME Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Scheduled and breakdown maintenance of all heavy equipment including trucks, dozers, diggers, shovels (P&H 4100A, P&H 4100XPC, CAT 7495) and draglines (BE2570W)
Maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
Providing mechanical maintenance and services.
Trouble shooting and the ability to located and solve unplanned breakdowns with attention to detail and in a timely manner.
Performing preventative maintenance.
About you
The be successful in this role, you will have:
Possess a AUR31220 - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (Mobile Plant Equipment) or an equivalent qualification.
Have previous experience working on heavy earth moving equipment.
Able to work both autonomously and as a part of a team.
