We are looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join a highly engaged QA team in our factory based in Wiri. In this role, you will manage all outgoing samples and incoming results to ensure product gets produced and manufactured safely and on time.  Investigate results OOS and work closely with different departments to ensure the factory conforms to standards and requirements


A day in the life…


Reporting to the Site QA Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

 

  • Collect, coordinate and despatch all samples required for external lab analysis.
  • Check all results and approve or escalate as required.
  • Be the primary liaison between Cambria Park factory and all external testing sources.
  • Complete analysis to assist production with information such as FB identification, moisture, pH, density, flow energy curve analysis, friability / attrition & deblending in our internal analytical laboratory.
  • Check all incoming paperwork (COA, MPI, loading sheets etc) to ensure compliance.
  • Release finished good based on results.
  • Check new packaging materials against nutrobank and colour standards.
  • Complete sampling and Taint Testing on new materials. Support Trails as required.
  • Complete incident reports. Work with departments to ensure action plans are in place.
  • Participate in the factory's internal, external and supplier audit programme.


What will make you successful

 

  • Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be self-motivated, proactive and have a proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in Food Science or related field of study.
  • Minimum 1 years' experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passionate about working for Nestlé and sharing its purpose.
  • Previous experience and familiarity working with SAP preferred.
  • A working understanding of NZ Food Regulations is beneficial.
