The role:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day forklift activities at our busy Hamilton facility. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.You will be working from 7am to 3.30pm.

Your main responsibilities will include the following:

• Operate all lifting equipment and able to move stock
• Read and interpret packing slips accurately
• Identify sub-standard or faulty goods
• Palletise all goods for dispatch
• Complete warehouse paperwork and identify any anomalies
• Liaise with planners, other employees and be able to expedite orders if required
• Complete Delivery paperwork and identify any anomalies
• Conduct cycle counts as directed

Our ideal candidate should have:

• Current Forklift (Reach Truck) License - mandatory
• Prior experience in reach truck operation and order picking in a warehouse setting.
• Previous experience working the dangerous goods advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical fitness to lift and move heavy items as required.
