Our IT team is looking for a Salesforce Administrator focused to help develop their enterprise CRM capabilities. In This Role:
In this role you will develop, implement, and support enterprise custom and packaged applications and other internal software programs used by end users in the organization. You’ll also perform a variety of systems related analytical activities to support application functionality, availability and performance.
Location: We would like you to work on-site on a hybrid basis at our New Zealand office supporting our Veterinary Software business.
- Analyze, understand, and translate business needs into technical configurations that administrators and developers can use as guidelines for configuration and/or programming work.
- Configure Salesforce to satisfy business requirements. Provide daily system/application administration. Maintain system and application backup/recovery and patching. Manage access and security of the systems and applications. Monitor and proactively support system/application capacity planning and stability.
- Perform Salesforce administrator functions including maintenance/updates, system backups, security, roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, custom reports, dashboards and groups.
- Assess technical requirements of requests and scope for projects and communicate results to the business clients, project teams, and IT counterparts
What you will need to succeed:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in performing Salesforce administrator functions and working with Salesforce build tools (e.g. Salesforce DX, Jenkins, Git, etc.).
- Salesforce configuration experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Computer and technical aptitude required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills required.
- Excellent customer service and business relationship-building skills required.
- Ability to work independently and within teams.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.
