We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable IT Security and Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing security documentation, ensuring compliance, and supporting various IT security and reliability initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT security, excellent communication skills, and a desire to grow into a leadership role in cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for security documentation and customer security questionnaires
- Lead SOC2 compliance efforts and other security certifications
- Monitor and enforce endpoint compliance across the organization
- Maintain and update IT security documentation to ensure 100% accuracy and completeness
- Perform reliability monitoring and contribute to site reliability efforts
- Review cloud infrastructure configuration, identify opportunities for security hardening
- Review internal proposals to change infrastructure configuration
- Implement and manage daily, weekly, and monthly security and compliance cadences
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure security policies and procedures are followed
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IT security and compliance
- Assist new joiners in ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices
Requirements
Please note that only speakers of fluent Russian and English are accepted. Applicants must not be located in Russia or Belarus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Possess professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or CISA
- 5+ years of experience in IT security, compliance, or related roles
- Strong knowledge of IT security principles, best practices, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively advise management and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with security documentation and answering security questionnaires
- Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential security issues
