An opportunity has arisen to become part of the Mt Albert Library team as Libraries & Council Service Assistant.
While based at Mt Albert Library, you will have the flexibility to work across all our Albert-Eden-Puketāpapa Local Board libraries.
This is 38-hr permanent part-time position (Tuesday to Saturday).
We are a focused and committed team who take pride in delivering excellence in customer experience. Our Libraries and Council Service Assistants play a vital role in contributing to digital literacy, community outreach and reading programmes with our tamariki and rangatahi.

You will have strong people skills, are flexible and adaptable to our library environment. You have a passion for customer service with a positive attitude towards serving people of all ages and backgrounds. You are eager to learn new skills and thrive in a busy work environment.
We are looking for a team member who:
- Demonstrates an understanding of Te Ao Māori values and principles
- Understands and uses technology with confidence
- Is reliable, enjoys fostering great relationships with our community
- Can demonstrate experience working with a diverse range of people
- Demonstrates excellent written and communication skill
