The opportunity

  • If data and reporting is your thing, then we have an excellent 12-month fixed term role in our reporting and power BI team.
  • Working closely with our data analytics and actuarial team, you will look under the hood of our reporting requirements and develop new and improved reporting in our new Power BI dashboard.
  • You will work with passionate and collaborative colleagues and stakeholders, in cross functional agile working teams
  • Supportive leader & a team that is highly engaged, driven but also with good team camaraderie!
  • Hybrid working with 2 days in the house and happy to talk flexible

Your new role

Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst, you will work within agile squads in a cross functional team, being the key interface between the business and the technology team. Key aspects of your role will include:

  • Align the team deliverables to business strategy & requirements.
  • Analyze workflow to create process maps and isolate areas of potential improvement.
  • Responsible for managing the implementation of small to large initiatives against plan.
  • Manage business requirements throughout project and program lifecycle.
  • Support development of business improvement cases, where appropriate, including investment and expected benefit realization.
  • Produce technical specifications to communicate user requirements in technical terms to analyst programmers/project team.

About you

As an experienced Business Analyst you will:

  • Manage medium sized projects and are comfortable in an agile project management environment.
  • Experience in insurance would be an advantage, otherwise ability to learn quickly and show evidence of working in a fast paced and innovative environment.
  • Be a team player who can deliver but can also be transparent and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Enjoy being part of a down to earth, conscientious team
