Job Description

Do yourself a power of good

Want to work somewhere where you are doing good for the world, your community and yourself at the same time?

Whatever your role at Vector, we’ll stretch you to find solutions for some of the world’s biggest challenges. And they don’t get much bigger than redesigning our energy future for a world of EV’s and home solar generation to help mitigate the impacts of climate change.

If you want to do a power of good for yourself and the world, consider a career at VTS.

The role

We’re a team on a mission to revolutionise the way energy data is managed, accessed and used globally. The software we build aims to liberate the energy information crucial to energy innovation by co-developing global energy data platforms in partnership with AWS (Amazon Web Services).

The Customer Operations Manager is a pivotal role within our enterprise SaaS company, responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences and the seamless operation of our software platform.  This role combines expertise in software release management (feature and BAU releases), system support, and stakeholder management to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

This is an exciting time to join VTS, and for the right person the scope of this role may grow in time. See where a career with VTS can take you.

Who are we looking for?

  • You’ll be experienced in production support for large scale enterprise software, with a sound knowledge of support frameworks, standards and best practice
  • You’ll be experienced in software development release processes in a DevOps or similar environment, with a good understanding of the lifecycle of software development
  • Creative in the face of challenges, you’ll have a track record of taking a proactive approach in leading and driving outcomes, problem-solving and making critical decisions under pressure
  • You’ll have a natural inclination for working collaboratively with others, building and maintaining successful relationships and exercising influence with senior stakeholders.

Why us?

Whether it’s the opportunity to work on challenges on a truly global scale in collaboration with leading technology firms, or to build a legacy for Auckland and New Zealand through your work; or perhaps to work in an innovative and transformative sector, or our commitment to supporting your development, there’s a myriad of reasons to choose a career with VTS.
