DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Customer Service, Transport and Invoicing in NZL - Wellington, Daly St.
The position is responsible for working across the Customer Service, Transport and Invoicing department to ensure the efficient delivery of cargo by liaising with customers and service providers and the accurate and timely invoicing of financial transactions by issuing AR invoices and processing AP invoices. The position must provide accurate information and resolve enquiries in order to meet customer expectations and ensure deliveries are carried out in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Project cargo related experience / exposure would be valuable.
Your typical day at DSV:
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers (both locally and internationally).
• Problem solve and provide feasible solutions to manage customer requirements.
• Understand and carry out customer service tasks in accordance with SOPs and client notes.
• Accurate and efficient processing using CW1 (updating customer details, eDocing, mandatory fields etc.).
• Update estimated and actual delivery milestones and mandatory fields.
• Plan and prioritize shipment deliveries from the Transport Workbench.
• Record and verify financial transactions (includes managing claims).
• Facilitate branch urgent payments, process local accounts payable and receivable invoices and Brokerage job registrations.
• Ability to problem solve transport issues such as: documentation, weights and measures in relation to load size, space availability and calculate monetary implications.
• Work with the Invoicing team to ensure all set KPI’s are being met.
• Assist Operations Manager with Month end tasks in CW1.
• Work with other departments to resolve AR or AP queries.
• Approve local and overseas payable invoices.
• Auto-rate billing files and ensure rates are sourced from the client rate module.
• Finalise all billing files and send document packs to clients.
About you:
• Industry knowledge and experience (including Invoicing).
• Ability to operate in a paperless working environment.
• Intermediate CargoWise One knowledge and experience.
