About the role  
An exciting opportunity exists for a Telecommunications Climbing Technician, reporting to the Works Manager you will be working as part of a motivated team responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of mobile and fixed telecommunications equipment within the NZ Telecommunications network. 

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects for large, high-profile organisations that provide critical infrastructure in the electricity and communications sector. You will be joining a small, yet well-established and experienced team where you can get training, and portable skills and career opportunities that will set you up for life!
 
As the successful candidate, you should have the following:
•    NZQA Working at Heights Qualification as well as Height & Tower Rescue Certification
•    A minimum of 2 years experience in Telecommunications or similar infrastructure industries 
•    Experience in radio technology or interest in telecommunications, electrical, and/or related technologies
•    Full class 1 driver’s licence
•    Physically fit and love working outdoors 
•    Strong focus on Health and Safety practices, including First Aid, Working Around Utilities etc
