We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and driven person to join the business as our Key Account Manager responsible for the Nestlé Coffee and Dairy portfolio. This a great opportunity to work with market leading brands and teams. You are primarily responsible for managing our Coffee and Dairy portfolio with our Foodstuffs South Island Customer partners.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF...
Reporting to the Head of Customer, you will work closely with the Foodstuffs South Island team and will manage a select portfolio of some of our most exciting key brands. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our fantastic customer relationships while delivering the strong levels of growth in volume, value and share that we and our customers have come to expect over recent times. In this role, key responsibilities include;
- Develop a Customer Centric relationship with Foodstuffs South Island
- Create and execute the annual plan based on business priorities
- Monitor and report results against the priorities
- 360 feedback to applicable commercial team members, including Marketing Managers and Category Development Managers to ensure market activities are celebrated or modified as required
- Engage with operations team (Field Sales and Territory Managers) through cycle activity and action feedback/requests
- Creation and distribution of regional engagement material

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales within FMCG Grocery, preferably with Foodstuffs South Island.
- Commercial acumen and a history of building successful relationships with your customers and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficient in using Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
- Organisational skills and the ability to balance priorities is key.
- A solution focus and the courage and creativity to push the boundaries to achieve desired outcomes for the business and the customer.
- An analytical mindset as you deep dive into performance indicators and drive improvements in business processes and results
- Your conviction will set you apart as will your passion for sales and resilience to work within a fast-paced agile environment.
