About the role
As an Inbound Exceptions Specialist, you’ll be working as part of our Accounts Payable team dealing with payment queries, working with supply chain on goods receipting and matching invoices with purchase orders. With three key areas, this role owns the processing of the goods receipt and invoice receipt, non-stock invoice processes and working with the wider company on outstanding purchase orders. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to: · Ensure invoices are processed accurately within defined time frame in accordance with policies and process · Provide guidance to business users to avoid delays · Process allocated invoices and credit notes · Respond to queries and escalate issues when appropriate · Continuously strive to improve processes · Process and Reporting of Company Cash and Credit Card expenses About you
With a strong business acumen, you’ll have a high attention to detail coupled with strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Process driven, you’ll have a good understanding of SAP and will understand the flow of financial documents through the business. Tech savvy, you’ll be comfortable working in a range of applications and will have a knowledge of ERP systems. Having a collaborative working style, you will be a do’er, capable of delivering high volumes of quality work within set time frames. The role is busy, fast paced and you will process high volumes so you will need to someone who enjoys working at pace!This is an established team who work hard and enjoy a bit fun in the work environment. You will be comfortable sharing ideas, questioning each other, supporting each other when times get tough and enjoy having a good laugh.
