Isotrace NZ Ltd is the forensic arm of Oritain Global, and we are currently seeking a Data Review Specialist Technician to join our team based in our Dunedin laboratory. In this role, you will be pivotal in reviewing and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data generated from our scientific analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, validate, and verify data generated from testing and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with established protocols and quality standards
  • Conduct root cause analysis for any discrepancies or deviations in data
  • Assist in the development and refinement of data review processes
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient communication regarding data integrity and quality
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for data findings
  • Responsible for ensuring others working on sample preparation have the required skills and training to maintain high quality output

Requirements

  • Degree in a scientific or technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
  • You must have at least 2 years of commercial experience in data review, analysis, or a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with data management software
  • As a minimum have intermediate skill-level and experience with Excel
  • Working experience with IRMS instrumentation is highly advantageous
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Strong communication skills, within both written and verbal contexts
  • Understanding of quality control and assurance processes in a scientific setting
