We are looking for Expressions of Interest from experienced Small Works Foremen to join our team in Palmerston North. This role will have you leading an operational crew to deliver work on time, on budget and safely. Your talents will provide the team with an environment that puts safety and quality first.

In addition to the above you will:

  • Carry out daily pre start meetings, hazard id’s and tail gate meetings
  • Complete all documentation required for the role including time sheets, daily job sheets, pre start inspections, plant usage sheets, quality checklists, hazard ids.
  • Coordinate, plan and organize plant, labour, sub-contractors and suppliers as required for projects.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Minimum class 2 license
  • WTR endorsements
  • A background in road construction, including pavement construction.
  • Proven experience in leading a crew.
  • Previous plant experience in a construction environment
  • Ability to communicate clear expectations to your team and suppliers.
  • Accountability for resources, including people management and supply allocation.
  • A can-do attitude and the ability to problem solve.
