We have an opportunity in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland for an enthusiastic individual to kick start their career in financial technology as an Accounting Software Support Specialist in our Value Financials team. We are known for delivering cutting-edge financial reporting solutions and this role will be at the heart of our operations, blending both innovation and client interaction.
You'll be involved in developing our financial reporting tool and providing top-tier support to our impressive client base. Troubleshooting and resolving issues will be part of your day to day through phone and email support - full training will be provided for our successful candidate!
Key responsibilities:
Develop our in-house tool and assist clients by guiding them through issues step by step
Help shape the software's future by contributing to new features and enhancements
Dive into the world of agile, test-driven software architecture and development, refining your skills and staying updated with the latest trends
Flex your problem-solving muscles as you understand clients' needs and customise the software to perfection
Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience
Basic Accounting knowledge to understand our clients' financial world
Previous customer service or help desk experience to handle client needs
A genuine passion for software, backed by a willingness to learn
Proficiency in MS Excel, with bonus points for Javascript, MYOB and Xero familiarity
Adaptability and a proactive attitude
