Join us as an Experienced Pipe Installer in our drainage team based in Christchurch!  

In this role you will carry out drainage and pipe installation related tasks to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard.

In addition to the above you will:

  • Coordinate watermain installation and connections
  • Perform drainage works including, stormwater and sewerage reticulation, HPW and the installation of structures (sumps and manholes) 
  • Ensure all drainage work is carried out to specifications and industry best practice.

We’re looking for someone with:  

  • Full class 1 Licence (Class 2 would be advantageous)
  • Demonstrated experience as a pipe installer working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience laying water, sewer and stormwater pipes.
  • Experience installing a variety of drainage structures (manholes, sumps, wingwalls etc.) 
  • The ability to confidently read and understand drainage and service plans.
  • A proactive approach towards health and safety – it’s our #1 priority.  
  • A positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment. 
  • Willingness to become a CCC approved water and sewer installer
