Join us as General Labourer in Whanganui

In this role you will support the Maintenance Team to complete jobs safely and according to quality and programme requirements. You will be involved in the general operation of machinery as well as day to day maintenance repair.

In addition to the above you will:

• Assist the crew with routine cyclic maintenance including fixing potholes, sign maintenance, hand shoveling out curbs and general maintenance activities.
• Assist in lifting and shifting materials as well as using handheld equipment
• Look after the safety of yourself and people around you, ‘push pause’ when needed, never carryout a task when the safety of yourself and others is at risk

We’re looking for someone with:

• Full class 1 licence, Class 2 preferred
• Labouring experience in the civil construction industry
• WTR preferred but not essential
