The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our team to support business integration, transformation, and month end close process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
The Senior Finance Manager will be supporting various aspects of the business integration and finance transformation plan, as well as responsible for month end close process. You will work closely with the Finance Lead of the integration project, Chapter Area Lead, CFO, and the business unit leaders to ensure a smooth and successful integration and finance transformation. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a strategic growth initiative and to gain exposure to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role will also be accountable for establishing governance and operating rhythm on financial control matters including completeness of the financial reporting, compliance, and risk management of the business.
Support the accounting aspects of business acquisition
Establish integration and change management on financial close – including payroll accounting, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, management reporting, budgeting, managing relationship with auditors
Responsibility across multiple reporting basis – IFRS, US GAAP, Statutory and Regulatory reporting
Coordinate and collaborate with the Finance Lead and the business unit leaders on the acquisition and integration strategy, objectives, and priorities.
Identify and implement best practices, process improvements, and system enhancements to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
Ensure that the financial control framework complies with the relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies for the Australia and New Zealand business
Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, and provide coaching and guidance on their career development.
Monitor and report on the financial performance and key metrics of the business, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
For each of the defined finance function – processes and controls need to be defined and operated effectively within Resolution Life’s risk appetite.
Your Story

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or audit, preferably in a financial service (Life Insurance) and complex organization
Expert knowledge of the financial reporting cycle, accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control best practices for the Australia and New Zealand business
Sound technical knowledge on IFRS 17 essential
At least 5 years of work experience in a managerial role
Experience in mergers and acquisitions, in particular, business integration.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and financial modelling tools.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards
