Job Description

Mō te tūranga | About the opportunity

We are on the lookout for a superstar self-starter and coffee-making extraordinaire to join the team on a casual basis, supporting our cafe and kitchen teams

Along with consistently brewing the best coffee in Auckland, you thrive in a sole-charge environment, and enjoy enriching the lives of our residents. You'll also be responsible for: 

• Ensuring all customers have a great experience 
• FOH service
• Prepping and serving cabinet food 
• Ordering supplies as required
• Set up and pack down each shift
• Meal preparation including assembling and preparing ingredients, baking, cooking, toasting, and heating food items.
• Maintaining our cafe cleaning, safety, and hygiene standards

This role will be on an as and when needed basis, covering shifts across our cafe and kitchen

Qualifications

• Experience in a barista role and hospitality
• Great customer service ethos
• Initiative with the ability to manage competing demands
• Experience working within a commercial kitchen or similar environment 
• A commitment to work sustainably
