About the role - Mō te tūranga

As the Accounts Payable & Credit Manager, you will lead the Accounts Payable and Credit Control teams, ensuring financial controls, process efficiency, and policy compliance are well managed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide direct supervision and leadership to the Accounts Payable and Credit Control teams, driving performance, coaching, and development.
• Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable function and manage Credit Control operations to ensure timely processing, reduce credit risks, and minimize outstanding debt.
• Work closely with business units to optimize the Purchase Order (PO) system, integrate expenses and fleet costs, and enhance GL coding accuracy for financial reporting.
• Collaborate with Operations and Business teams to analyze live data for claims.
• Lead initiatives to transition to weekly BCTI production, improve invoices and customer statements, and support finance system improvements and automation.

We are looking for a driven individual with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Additionally, you will bring:

• Proven experience managing Accounts Payable and/or Credit Control teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Salesforce for claims and credit management is highly desired.
• Solid understanding of financial processes, including PO systems, GL coding, and financial reporting.
• Commercial awareness and ability to analyze financial data for business insights.
• Experience with ERP systems and finance software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Business, and Finance teams.
