Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Sheetmetal Fabricator, with press brake experience, to join our Assembly team at our Hamilton site. In this hands-on role, you’ll help manufacture and assemble Air Handling Units, ensuring the highest quality and precision to meet engineered designs and specifications.

Your role: Reporting to the Production Foreman from 7:30am - 4pm, you’ll be part of a larger team of production workers responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Fabricating parts using technical drawings, hand and power tools, sheet metal machines, and welders where applicable.
  • Performing sub-assembly and assembly work.
  • Conducting quality assurance checks to maintain high production standards.
  • Packing completed products for dispatch.
  • Carrying out onsite work and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Maintaining housekeeping duties in line with Temperzone BEST and 5S systems.
  • Flexibly working across all production areas to provide coverage and support other assembly functions as needed.

Qualifications

You will have experience and skillsets in the following:

  • 1 – 3 years in manufacturing industry is ideal
  • Experience with press brake machines for metal work, cutting, and bending
  • Ability to understand drawings specifying length and diameter
  • Computer literacy for programming machines
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and dimensions
  • Strong understanding of safe work practices
  • Good team player with reliable attendance
