Join us as an experienced Trade Electrician based within the Auckland Region.

As part of the Electrical Team, you’ll be providing installation and maintenance of new and existing motorway infrastructure along with various commercial, transport and infrastructure projects. Work can include electrical work for street lighting and ensuring electrical components are safely and effectively operational.

In addition to the above you will:

  • Take part in pre-start meetings and risk planning before starting work.

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components for infrastructure projects, including lighting, power distribution, and controls.

  • Provide diagnostics for electrical issues and perform timely and effective repairs.

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure installations and repairs meet the required standards and specifications.

  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders and public.

Hours:  You will need to be available to work both day and nightshift schedules, including emergency callouts and repairs, including after-hours and weekends, as required.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A minimum Class 1 Full drivers’ licence, Class 2 is advantageous.

  • Be an NZ EWRB registered Electrician with practicing licence.

  • Experience in streetlighting is preferable.

  • Apply your knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

  • Good accountability and dedication to ensure completion of work.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
