We are seeking a Product Growth Technician to join our Research and Development team, where you’ll play a key role in enhancing Road Science's brand recognition and helping maintain our position as Australasia’s top provider of bituminous products and technical services. This role would suit someone with excellent technical capability, great communication skills, and a passion for agile, collaborative delivery.
Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
The purpose of this position is to ensure Road Science maximises the potential of new products developed by the R&D team by providing technical support, customer liaison, and case studies for development projects. You will assist with implementing new products into the manufacturing business and support with bringing these products to market.
The Product Growth Technician will also leverage data from Road Science’s emerging IoT technologies, data collection services, and publicly available data sources to develop models and algorithms. The insights from these models will help provide clear, actionable data to our customers, enabling them to make better business decisions.

This role involves delivering technical presentations, engaging with customers, and producing written papers. We are seeking a confident communicator with strong people skills, who is comfortable with presenting and speaking to the public. We would also value:
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to influence
- Strong delivery and project management skills
- Strong technical skills
- Proven experience in creating and implementing innovative ideas
- Proven ability to form and maintain strong relationships
- Proven experience with use of the RAMM database
- Ability to manage complexity and to work with varying disciplines to achieve consistent outcomes
