You will assist growers in producing profitable crops through strong technical advice, account management and a high level of service. You will be working alongside experienced team members with knowledge across multiple crop types, who will help you succeed and thrive in this position.
This role is in Nelson, but you can be based in Motueka or Richmond.
Mōhou ake | About you
You will have relevant and broad industry experience and be confident providing technical advice - you can make the difference to someone's very livelihood. There will also be a focus on sales and relationship building plus excellent communication skills are critical to your success in this role.
What you bring to the business:
- Strong technical knowledge and experience.
- Ideally a relevant tertiary qualification in horticulture or a similar discipline but equally as important is your experience brought from managing orchards and hands on learned knowledge.
- A depth and breadth of Horticulture experience, so we know that our clients are in good hands.
- Experience in sales management would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite as sales support will be provided.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish and build effective working relationships.
