About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Vector’s award-winning Cyber Security team, recently recognised as Harmony Customer of the Year at the Global Check Point Software Summit—a testament to our leadership in cybersecurity and the crucial role we play in strengthening security capability.
As our Cyber Security Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in delivering cybersecurity, risk, governance, and compliance projects that enhance our security architecture. You’ll work closely with the Cyber Delivery Lead and serve as a critical bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders, and customers—translating complex security concepts into clear, actionable insights.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyse business processes, system interactions, and information requirements for security-related products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security needs and align them with business goals.
- Standardise and optimise processes for efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
- Develop service blueprints, process visualisations, and documentation for cybersecurity initiatives.
- Influence stakeholders by presenting well-structured ideas and gaining buy-in for security improvements.
Who we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the technology sector, ideally with a focus on security risk, compliance, or regulatory frameworks. If you come from a risk or governance background, we’re happy to support your learning in cybersecurity.
- Experience working in value streams, tribes, or squads, with the ability to adapt between Agile, Waterfall, and Kanban methodologies.
- Strong background in digital/technical environments, with a track record of using Six Sigma or Lean Sigma to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
- Ability to translate complex security and business requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
- Business-focused mindset, with expertise in process visualization and service blueprinting.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.
