We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electrician) to work on escalators within our service team in Auckland, New Zealand.

At KONE No two days are the same as you attend service calls and complete planned or unplanned repairs across different sites including offices, apartments, shopping centres and schools.

What will you be doing?

  • Completing scheduled preventative maintenance on escalators
  • Attending service calls and completing planned and unplanned escalators repairs
  • Assisting local installation activities when necessary
  • Taking a safety-first and quality-focused approach to your work
  • Working to actively maintain customer relationships in the local region

What are we looking for?

  • Previous escalator experience
  • Previous experience working with complex electrical systems
  • A current registered electrical licence
  • Valid drivers licence
  • Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality
  • Excellent communication skills, a customer service mindset and ability to work as part of a team
  • An ability to start/finish at flexible times and work after-hours as required
