About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Front of House Reception/Facilities Coordinator to join our client's fantastic corporate offices in Christchurch. This role offers you the chance to utilise your outstanding customer service skills and learn more about facilities at the same time.
Your day will involve everything from greeting and directing internal and external stakeholders, to efficiently addressing maintenance issues with contractors. You'll ensure visitors feel welcomed and our facilities run smoothly while maintaining a solid understanding of our clients' organisational structure.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and directing stakeholders always with a 5-star customer service mindset
- Mail and courier processing and administration support
- Answering phone calls promptly, professionally, and attentively
- Conducting daily building checks
- Liaising with contractors to promptly address various maintenance issues and ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements
- Meeting room resets and administration tasks as required
- Managing contractors effectively
- Prioritising security awareness and paying strong attention to detail
- Some moderate lifting may be involved
- Ensuring your site is compliant with Canon and our Clients’ Health & Safety Standards
About you
We are seeking a customer service superstar who enjoys being the first point of contact for reception related duties. Along with this, you are happy to roll up your sleeves and dive into facilities related responsibilities as part of your role.
Exceptional customer service is second nature to you; you excel in communication, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and manage your time effectively. Other key attributes include:
- Proven experience in a corporate hospitality environment is highly regarded
- Very high standard of personal presentation
- Knowledge of building compliance is advantageous but training will be provided
- Strong admin skills and proficiency in MS packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Outgoing personality with a ‘can-do’ attitude and dedicated to providing excellent customer service
- Ability to troubleshoot, effectively prioritise and multitask
- Hardworking, reliable, and highly adaptable in a rapidly changing environment
- Physically fit to be on your feet for a big part of your day
