Your Impact:
Reporting to the Commercial S&OP Manager and based at our Auckland CBD office, you will play a key role in enhancing the Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) process by leveraging data analytics, scenario modelling, and performance reporting.
You will work across multiple business functions—including supply chain, IT, procurement, and manufacturing—to improve data visibility, streamline planning processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency.
This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven analyst who is passionate about transforming supply chain data into actionable insights to support strategic business decisions.
More specifically, you will be involved in:
- Optimising S&OP performance by improving data accuracy and visibility across supply chain functions.
- Collating and analysing sales, manufacturing, and inventory data to provide real-time, data-driven insights.
- Running scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of demand fluctuations, capacity constraints, and supply disruptions.
- Developing and maintaining data analytics tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) to track key performance metrics.
- Monitoring S&OP KPIs and recommending process improvements to increase forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
- Supporting the integration of Oracle EDI with external suppliers and third-party manufacturers to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Assisting in network modelling and scenario analysis to evaluate supply chain optimisation strategies.
- Supporting IT initiatives to improve standardisation and automation of data within Oracle and data warehouses.
- Ensuring supply chain data integrity and quality, allowing for accurate and timely decision-making across all functions.
- Developing datasets and reports to improve end-to-end supply chain visibility, from raw materials sourcing to finished goods distribution.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities in freight network, inventory management, and logistics optimisation.
What You Will Bring:
We are looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive professional with a strong background in S&OP, supply chain analysis, forecasting, and optimisation. You should be confident in data modelling, reporting automation, and translating complex supply chain data into business insights.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, business analysis, or S&OP analytics.
- Experience working in FMCG, pharmaceuticals, or time-sensitive inventory environments.
- Strong technical proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle Cloud preferred), Power BI, Tableau, and SQL.
- A proven ability to optimise supply chain operations by using data to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Experience with EDI integration and supply chain automation to improve data management and reporting efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and mitigate supply chain risks.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field (a master’s degree is a plus).
- The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, IT, and external vendors.
