Job Description
About the role
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor at our Land Based plant. This site services the Shellfish operation for both our Blenheim and Havelock sites.
You will be responsible for overseeing the Engineering team (Electricians and Fitters), as they maintain all of the engineering systems and equipment on site to minimise downtime and improve overall plant efficiency. The Supervisor must be able to clearly communicate work requirements and prioritise work accordingly.
This is a Full-time role with an immediate start, 45hours per week and requires a flexible schedule to capture both Day/Night Teams.
The rate ranges from $40 - $50 p/h, based on your experience and qualifications.
As a Manintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing work schedules for the engineering team.
- Inspecting and assessing the work done by the engineering staff.
- Reading and interpreting the design schematics to ensure the proper installation of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshooting major system failures and equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Following the health and safety/food safety procedures.
Qualifications
For this role, you'll need:
- Engineering trade or Electrical - dual will be beneficial.
- 5 plus years Mechanical or Electrical Engineering experience.
- Project management.
- CAD/detailed drawing interpretation experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
