We're looking for an experienced Paving Side Operator to join our Pavement Renewals Team, based out of our Wiri Yard in Auckland.

Scope of the work will be carrying out Asphalt Renewals, mainly across the South Urban Auckland network. With your proven experience as a Side Operator, you will work cohesively with your paving operating peer, in ensuring quality pavement of our roads.

In addition to the above you will

• Be a skilled Paving Side Operator, operating machinery; Paver and Roller
• Monitor and adjusting the temperature settings of the asphalt mixture – (experience required)
• Drive Class 2 Crew Cab Tipper Truck
• Conduct pre-start safety checks for any machinery and plant
• Attend and take part in pre-start meetings, understanding hazards and H&S risks
• Conduct general labourer duties when required to ensure timely completion per project timeframes

We’re looking for someone with

• Hold a Class 2 NZ Drivers Licence
• Hold a WTR Endorsement
• Having competence as a Paving and Roller Operator within the construction
• Have the willingness to help out with labouring duties when required

The official position title for this role will be: Specialist Operator. The role is a Full Time permanent position, guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours per week. The wage ranges from $26.00 - $38.00 per hour + penal rates.
