Requirements

You will be a self-starter that has commercial sales experience with the ability to professionally present Konica Minolta products, services & solutions.  This includes the range of office and production printing products. You will be an excellent communicator and have a proven record of selling to a diverse range of industry verticals. You will be instrumental in the total sales cycle from generating leads through to closing the sale.  You will be responsible for achieving sales goals and developing both short and long-term sales pipelines to achieve the revenue target.  You will have experience winning new business.

Key Requirements
To be qualified for this position, ideally your background and skills will comprise of the following:

  • Undertake sales generation activities within an assigned territory to achieve a sales revenue budget
  • Understand the complexities of winning new business and selling a solution
  • Experience in high value capital expenditure sales with a proven track record of success
  • Establishment of long-term relationships with prospective customers
  • Maintain detailed sales activity and customer information in the customer relationship management system (CRM)
  • Experience in the industry is highly desirable 
  • In conjunction with your manager, develop strategic plans for your territory and provide periodic forecasts to assist with strategic planning processes
  • Develop proficiency in the quotation and configuration of customer requirements
  • Keep up to date with competitor information and market trends

Essential requirements for this role:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly skilled in both verbal and written communication
  • Be prepared to learn and have a vast knowledge within different account bases.
  • Know how to develop complex engagement strategies across your territory for long term success
  • Territory Management & Sales Pipeline experience
  • Have a history of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • High degree of business acumen with the ability to understand and work with financial tools
  • Be a proven self-starter and a driven individual
  • Personal enthusiasm with a strong sense of teamwork
  • Proficiency with CRM applications
  • Exposure to sales training methodologies (Spin or Ignite as an example)
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Clean full New Zealand driver’s license
  • Only New Zealand residents
