Job Description

About the role

Based on your experience and qualifications, your pay will range from $38.50 - $50.00 per hour.   As part of the Maintenance team, you will be reporting to the Mechanical Lead and will manage the day-to-day maintenance, and site needs to ensure that the business-critical functions are maintained.

As a Facility Maintenance, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the needs of the site are upheld to attend to all general maintenance requests.
  • Identifying maintenance needs of the site to maintain the high standard required by the site.
  • Assisting with Continuous Improvement initiatives, investigations, and projects.
  • Identifying and reporting any Health and Safety issues observed around the site.
  • Ensuring a high standard of reporting within the “UPKEEP” CMMS system is maintained, collect and review daily documentation, and generating purchase orders.

Qualifications

For this role, you’ll need:

  • NZQA Level 4, previous technical building knowledge and maintenance experience.
  • Previous experience with CMMS software, Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to work well in a team, with excellent communication skills.
  • Initiative and ability to think on your feet and identify practical solution to business problems.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, responsive. disciplined, organised, systematic with a good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
