Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

The Downer South division is highly respected and has a great track record for delivering a high standard of work across the country.  We are looking for a Traffic Controller to provide support within the Rangitīkei District out of our Marton & Taihape depots.

As a Downer Traffic Controller, you will assist with Temporary Traffic Management under the direction of a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS). Ultimately you will work to ensure the safety of your crew and the public through clear and accurate direction of traffic. You will also:

• Help with sign and cone setup placement and pack down
• Assist with stop/go activity
• Driving duties
• General hand duties
  • Class 1 full license required

You will be a physically fit and motivated person and will bring with you. 

• A valid TMO warrant
• Enjoy working outdoors and keeping physically fit
• Be physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
• Assist with call-out work as required.
• Have a positive 'can do' attitude
