We have some exciting projects on the horizon and require an experienced and versatile Supervisor to join our growing Civil team, servicing the Napier region to deliver the good work we are known for.

The role of a Supervisor is to plan and organise work safely, while making sure that all resources are available to execute the job, this includes people, plant and materials in your area of control. As a Supervisor, you may lead multiple operational crews and perform some hands on work.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing day to day activities of your crews.
• Complying with Health and Safety policies on all aspects of work.
• Encouraging development of staff within your teams.
• Engaging staff and clients on a daily basis.

We’re looking for someone with:

• At least 10 years’ of experience working in Foreman and/or Supervisor roles.
• At least 5 years’ of experience working on heavy civil/structures projects in a Foreman/Supervisor capacity (this includes bridges, water treatment plants or other similar civil concrete structures).
• Experience managing a team, as well as sub-contractor management.
• Passionate about Health and Safety.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Desire to lead and mentor a team.
