As an HSQES Advisor, you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance in relation to HSQES activities. This is an opportunity to join our team on a 6 month contract. You will provide operational support to help deliver work for customers safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard. Our values will drive everything that you do.

In addition to the above you will:   

  • Assist with health and safety projects, systems and programme improvements
  • Track and report health and safety trends, and assist with monthly and operational reports
  • Provide support with identifying of risks, and development and implementation of improving safety process
  • Oversee, assist and report on all safety incidents and risks to the HSQES Manager
  • Assist with completion of both scheduled and unscheduled inspections, including subcontractor inspection and verification requirements.
  • Assist with identifying of training needs and provide support for on the job training

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Health & Safety role
  • Experience within a contracting or industrial environment (preferred)
  • Obtained (or working towards) a formal qualification in Health and Safety
  • Competent with Health & Safety Auditing
  • Competent across the Microsoft Office suite
  • Current class 1 drivers licence
  • Be a member of the NZISM group
