Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

Downer are proudly supporting a range of exciting projects across Gisborne. The Downer South division is highly respected and has a great track record for delivering a high standard of work across the country. We are looking for an experienced or up-and-coming Crusher Operator.

You will be based in the Gisborne hills of the Tiniroto area, looking after the Waerenga-O-Kuri crushing plant and will have opportunities to operate as well as learn to operate some heavy earth works machinery. Working alongside our dedicated team you may operate machinery including Crusher Operators. 

 

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

You will be a physically fit and motivated person and will bring with you. 

• Ability to complete tasks that involve heavy lifting and manual work
• Enjoy working outdoors and keeping physically fit
• Mechanically minded 
• Must have a Class 1 licence and ideally WTR 
• Class 2 licence would be beneficial 
• Experience with conveyor and crushing systems would be beneficial
