Administrator - Fixed Term | Part time
March 27, 2025
We are a small not for profit based in Manawatū with growth ambitions. Plant to Plate (P2P) provides gardening and cooking programmes for primary schools in the Manawatū. We see huge opportunity to give our future generations the skills and knowledge when it comes to food.
To keep the wheels turning while we determine what resourcing is needed to support our growth, we are looking for a person to work on a fixed term / part time basis in a key administration role.
Our programmes are run in schools weekly each Wednesday and you are the key contact between schools and Plant to Plate. You’ll ensure our employees, volunteers and schools have everything needed to deliver our cooking and gardening programmes that are fun and teach kids take these skills home to share with their whānau | families. This role will also keep our data and records up-to-date for funding, compliance and Board purposes.
The 6 hours per week will need to be worked across two days to support programme delivery and can be within school hours.
First and foremost, you’ll need to share the passion for what we do (our kaupapa). You’ll bring the attitude and ability to get the work done and be part of a small team. There is a focus on building strong relationships with our P2P community (employees, volunteers, schools and funders). Alongside this, you’ll need to be super organised and have current working knowledge of Google Docs, social media platforms, Canva (ideally), and MS products.
Contact Julie McNeill on 021 946 972 or [email protected] to learn more about the role.
