Senior ERP Technical Specialist

The Role

As a Senior ERP Technical Specialist (Senior SAP Basis Administrator), you will manage the technical aspects and growth of our SAP environment. Your key responsibilities include:

• Leading the installation, configuration, and upgrade of SAP systems.
• Monitoring and optimizing system performance to ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align SAP systems with business objectives.
• Implementing and maintaining robust SAP security measures and controls.
• Providing expert technical support and resolving complex SAP-related issues.
• Developing, testing and executing comprehensive backup and recovery procedures.
• Managing system upgrades with minimal business impact.
• Managing the transport management system (TMS) and ensuring compliance with change management processes.
• Mentoring team members and championing SAP within the business.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, and recommending improvements.

About You

• You are a highly skilled professional with a passion for excellence and a commitment to making a difference. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
• Expert in SAP system installation, configuration, and upgrades (S/4 is a bonus).
• In depth knowledge of SAP security measures and controls.
• Proven expertise in system monitoring and security protocols and troubleshooting.
• Experience in an SAP support role and a desire to continuously enhance your knowledge and expertise.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to learn quickly.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration.
