About the Role

We have an exciting part-time, Perm opportunity for a senior registered nurse looking for that next step in their nursing career. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide specialist haematology nursing care and expertise both in direct care delivery, and mentoring staff so they gain haematology knowledge and skill. As per the position description you will work across the organisation acting in the roles of clinician, educator, consultant, researcher, leader/change agent and care coordinator/case manager in the pursuit of clinical excellence and improved health outcomes.

This is a part-time position, and the successful applicant will work rostered days Monday to Friday between 0800 and 1700, times to be negotiated.  This could also be suitable for an RN to CNS two year programme.

About you

You will have proven clinical credibility, excellent group facilitation skills and advanced communication techniques such as conflict resolution, diffusion and mediation skills. You will have excellent organisational and time management skills, in addition to a professional can do attitude in line with our values.

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum of 3 years practice in haematology nursing, and advanced haematology knowledge and skills. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Hold or be working towards post graduate qualification at a minimum of a diploma or/and a masters degree
