About the role
We're looking for a professional, proactive Member Support Consultant - Administration to join our Hamilton based team. We’d prefer that you have strong attention to detail and are comfortable with making decisions.

As a Member Support Consultant - Administration, you’ll be making and taking calls and assisting Southern Cross members, along with Admin and Reception duties.
You’ll do this by:
Outbound calling our members & taking return calls from them.
Ensuring all forms of contact information for our members are correct and updating as necessary
Supporting the Claims unit by seeking verbal authorisation from members for claims to be assessed
Seeking correct refund details for claims refunds
Dealing with email bounce backs and returned mail
Claims receipting
Inbound and outbound mail processing
Rostered reception cover
Other administrative duties as required by management
About you:
Customer Service experience
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills – verbal, written and presentation
Demonstrates a mindset of agility and flexible and adaptive working
Attention to detail - has an eye for detail, with the ability to double check work to ensure accuracy
Demonstrates strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively. Able to maintain confidentiality in all dealings
Develops effective relationships across the organisation with all levels of employees
Initiative/Teamwork - takes responsibility for own actions with the ability to work cohesively with others
Seeks opportunities to improve work procedures
