The Pride is one of the largest breweries in New Zealand and home to some of New Zealand's most iconic and beloved beer and beverage brands. Lion is the home to many loved NZ Adult Beverages, from Speight's and Steinlager through to Mac's, Wither Hills, Smirnoff, Panhead and Corona.
We are currently looking for a Packaging Coordinator to join our team..
The Role
Join our packaging team, who are responsible for putting our beer and other beverages in our bottles in our high speed, semi-automated, safety orientated workplace. As a 2IC to our Team Leader, you will be the “go to” person for our team of brewery technicians/machine operators when they have questions or escalations as well as ensuring the smooth running overall of the glass packaging production line.
- Support with standard and quality checks
- Assist with crewing the production line
- Some machine relief so team members can go on breaks
- Be involved in process improvement and innovation at the brewery
- Be a champion of safety within the brewery
You will play an integral role in working effectively and proactively. This role will see you involved in delivering against the production plan whilst pursing improvements in safety, quality, value, and process excellence. Core to the work we do, you will be involved in supporting with operations across the packaging lines.
