Role Overview:

We are seeking 1-2 experienced Data Analysts to join a leading financial services organization. The successful candidates will work on customer analytics initiatives, focusing on deriving actionable insights from customer behaviour and transaction data.

Key Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SAS software and SQL (must-have)
• Demonstrated experience in analysing large datasets to solve business problems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellence in stakeholder communication and presentation skills
• Experience in creating business-focused deliverables using Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Desirable Skills:

• Python programming
• Git version control
• Data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, or advanced Excel)
• Experience in campaign analytics and customer segmentation
• Financial services industry experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse customer data to identify patterns and opportunities
• Create customer segments and personas based on behavioural analysis
• Evaluate and recommend business opportunities based on data insights
• Develop and present analytical findings to stakeholders
• Create processes and workflows for regular reporting and analysis
• Work collaboratively with business and technical teams

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years in a data analyst role
• Proven track record of delivering data-driven insights
• Experience in creating customer-focused analytical solutions

The ideal candidate will be technically proficient while maintaining a strong business focus, capable of translating complex data analysis into actionable business recommendations.

Note: This is a contract position requiring candidates to be based in Auckland or willing to relocate.
